As a high school student, do you aspire for a career in policy research? Have you already experimented with research writing?
The Young Researcher's Fellowship introduces a select number of young and motivated high school students into the arena of research. It will lay the foundations of critical thinking, research writing and analysis skills. The students will work one-on-one with Ms. Ankitha Cheerakathil, Founder & Executive Director of Institute H21's Indian office Foundation for Community Consensus (for her full professional profile as a policy researcher and published author, see here). All research articles will be published on the Institute H21 website.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and students can register here. 25% merit scholarships will be awarded to all students who have completed the Governance, Public Policy & Leadership 2.1 fellowship organised by FCC in partnership with NYU’s GovLab, the United Nations GCNI and the Embassy of the Czech Republic (read more about it here).

Eligibility: Grades 8-12 (final acceptance into the program may include a telephonic interview)
Duration: 3 hours per week for 1 month
Timings: Flexible, decided as per each student's school schedule

Fees: INR 16,000 (25% scholarships will be awarded to students who have completed the Governance, Public Policy & Leadership 2.1 Fellowship)
